Gotcha.

And we're okay. I'm making apology pie, and we'll be repainting together later.

In here!

[ He heard her long before that — pulling up into the driveway, opening the door. The living room has a selection of paints and tools piled neatly near the entrance, and there's a wonderful aroma of blueberry pie from the kitchen where Clark is cleaning up. ]

[ There's a set of plates and forks, and a pie cooling on the table. Clark flashes her a warm smile. ]

From you? Probably not.

[ He gives her another sheepish smile. ]

Well, the container broke, and I inhaled all of it. [ Not by accident, he didn't want it to spread, and figured it'd be safe for a Kryptonian. ] I didn't hallucinate or anything, but it gave me serious vertigo. The room wouldn't stop moving around, and by the time Alfred helped me off the floor, most of it was demolished.

Yeah, I'm fine now. It was just a lot of gas.

[ And he'd been indoors, a few minutes of sunshine, and Clark had been back to himself. ]

The rest of the notes are on your bureau.
